NASCAR - Biffle hérite de la victoire

Jimmie Johnson menait en fin de course mais il a abandonné à six tours de l'arrivée, suite à une casse moteur. Le drapeau jaune a été déployé et Greg Biffle a récupéré la tête. La course a repris pour deux tours. Brad Keselowski a tenté de prendre la première place, en vain.
Biffle s'impose devant Keselowski. Troisième place pour Kasey Kahne devant Dale Earnhardt Jr, Marcos Ambrose, Carl Edwards, Clint Bowyer, Ryan Newman, Paul Menard et Martin Truex Jr.
Denny Hamlin est 11ème, Kyle Busch 13ème, Matt Kenseth 17ème et Juan-Pablo Montoya 26ème.

Frayeur pour Martin

Hendrick a eu plusieurs problèmes techniques durant la course. Jeff Gordon et Tony Stewart, qui utilise un moteur préparé par cette équipe, ont eux aussi abandonné après des problèmes sur leurs blocs.
Mark Martin, le poleman, a eu un accident à l'entrée des stands. Il a percuté un muret, qui s'est encastré à l'intérieur de la voiture. Le réservoir a été percé mais le pilote n'a pas été blessé.
