LMS - Pagenaud signe la pole pour Peugeot

Quelques gouttes de pluie sont tombées au début des qualifications et les pilotes ont immédiatement pris la piste en slicks. Simon Pagenaud, chargé de qualifier la Peugeot N°7, et Stéphane Sarrazin, qui roulait dans la N°8, se sont échangé la première place au début de la séance.
Pagenaud a repris l'avantage et son chrono n'a pas été battu. La N°7 (Bourdais/Pagenaud) sera donc en pole. A noter que Simon Pagenaud remplace Anthony Davidson, blessé à la clavicule.
Allan McNish a signé le deuxième temps dans l'Audi N°2 (Kristensen/McNish), malgré du trafic. La Peugeot N°8 (Montagny/Sarrazin) sera troisième sur la grille devant l'Audi N°1 (Bernhard/Fassler), qualifiée par Timo Bernhard.

La Pescarolo en retrait

Nicolas Prost a signé le cinquième temps dans la Lola-Toyota Rebellion N°12 (Prost/Jani) devant les deux Pescarolo-Judd Oak, la N°15 (Lahaye/Moreau/Ragues) et la N°24 (Nicolet/Premat/Pla).
Emmanuel Collard et Christophe Tinseau peuvent être titrés en Le Mans Series dans la Pescarolo-Judd N°16. Julien Jousse, aligné avec eux, n'a pris que la neuvième place.

Les BMW dominent en GTE Pro

Danny Watts a signé la pole dans la HPD Strakka (Leventis/Watts/Kane) devant la Zytek-Nissan Greaves (Ojjeh/Kimber-Smith/Lombard).
En GTE Pro, les BMW ont signé un doublé avec le meilleur temps pour Augusto Farfus dans la N°56 (Farfus/Muller) devant la N°56 (Priaulx/Alzen). La Ferrari AF Corse N°71 (Melo/Vilander) a pris la troisième place.
En GTE Am, la pole est revenue à Nicolas Armindo dans la Porsche N°67 IMSA Performance-Matmut (Narac/Armindo). Enfin, la pole de la catégorie FLM a été réalisée par la voiture de Neil Garner (Hartshorne/Keating/Kee).
